Two EMTs drove up as close to ny house as they could to make it easier for me to be in the elements. It was freezing. They were kind and reassuring that they were going to take care of me and et me to the local hospital. I am a 79 year old widow and was in considerable distress. They put me in a chair and carried me out to the rig with the assistance of a city fireman. I called the office the next day to ask a few questions about some medicine and the two women that spoke with me were very helpful.!
Sadly their dispatcher (that won't name out of respect) reached out to random people and put rude comments on their memes about stats & burnt pizza. These comments came off unprofessional especially since they are responsible for taking calls from my understanding. However to reach out and talk about how hilarious it would be if our house burn down is uncalled for and unprofessional. Especially on someone random who does not know them. I pray that everyone is safe this season with God is watching over all those who are in th... read more

Had a family member pass away at home. The EMT that arrived on scene decided to declare, “patient is cold and dead- what do you want from us?” And they promptly left. Compassion. I expect compassion in that moment.
