Absolutely beautiful place. Many thanks to the folks who maintain and care for it. We booked the tent platforms, and they definitely need some maintenance--many many of the nail heads were sticking up from the decking, and I chose not to pitch my tent there for fear of damaging it. I'll def be back this summer!
Absolutely beautiful location for overnight camping. The area around the cabin is very well maintained with a lot of space. In addition to the cabin, the site has a ginormous new privy, two tent platforms, a large fire pit, picnic tables, and an incredible view. We lucked out with perhaps one of the most beautiful sunrises ever.
I didn't stay overnight here but stopped for breakfast. It's really a spectacular location for a cabin with stunning views eastward. Reservations are required for overnight. I'll definitely stay next time hiking thru here
