I love this place. I’ve stayed here as a solo hiker and came back with my family. The lake gets warm in summer and the whole place is a quick hike off the AT.
I stayed in a bunkhouse during the middle of the week. For the price, the accommodations were AWESOME! This is an absolutely beautiful place, with incredibly nice and helpful staff. While the food menu is limited as it's really early in the season, the items they have are delicious.
