Stay away from this company... the appraiser out of the blue became a safety inspector.. a home from the 70’s with a day light basement now has a issue? The appraiser charged 650 to do an appraisal, then said he would not release the appraisal until I had the day light basement wrapped in Lattice.. well 1000.00 later he released the appraisal. So after 1650.00 it was released, the home had a inspection done and this never came up why?? Oh because this home is grandfathered in that’s why. I will let everyone know Do Not Use t... read more
Paid $500 for an appraisal on May 22. Appraisal was not scheduled until May 29th with a delivery on June 1. Well June 1st came and went with no appraisal report completed. This is poor service at a high cost!

AMC links avoid but lenders force it on you? So they pay little to appraisers that are not local and don't know about the area. A 3Br 1 Bath, 990sq ft house will close at $125K VS. 3 Br 2 Full baths1500 AMC says val. $85K? Using 50 year Older fixer upper comp. Appraiser never seen inside the comp. I did, the house was a fixer upper, no crawl space, no central heating and air, leaky bathroom, old walls and flooring. The only new thing was the metal roof. This comp was also 50 years older. This company has gotten consistent one star reviews, which is one too many. They appraised a home of ours in California and totally disregarded that it is on 1.76 acres. The appraiser said that there are no comps for the land and used only comps for similar homes with land that is 1/15th the size of the land for this home. The land comps are easily available to anyone who is not too lazy in about 1 second on the web. This place doesn't do their job and should not be in business.
