We are 40 mins in, and this movie still hasn’t started. Genuinely, 15 mins is where I draw the line.
Great Theater and good atmosphere!
Nice movie theater, but what is going on with so many trailers and commercials before the movie?? 30+ minutes! I hate that so much. And the volume is cranked up painfully loud especially for horror movies. My friends and I literally wait in the halls until the trailers are over because they’re so obnoxiously loud and too long. Here’s a great idea: lower the volume to a comfortable level and don’t play more than 4 trailers at most.
They desperately need to renovate this place. It’s getting so run down. Dirty, old theaters and screens, a lot of technical difficulties, and zero premium formats( xl doesn’t count: the two stories are terrible. )Metreon is better in every way so there is not really any reason to come here since parking is the same price too.
The AMC Kabuki is great, especially if you want to see the Summer blockbusters without all the fanfare that you find at the Metreon downtown. Not every movie actually needs it. The one downside is that it doesn't have a ton of space for the concession line, which can get quite backed up at the smaller stand. Unless you have A-List, plan ahead for this line.
AMC Kabuki 8 has a 4.2 star rating with 1,892 reviews.
AMC Kabuki 8 is closed now. It will open at 9:00 a.m.
