I was scheduled on Thursday, March 27 at 5:30 am. That is the day that the skies opened up and rain was pouring down like I haven't seen in a long time. We cautiously and fearfully drove to the center, down the middle of each street which were flooding at the time. I thought that surely no one would show up and the center would close but no. Took mu brother to have a surgery done after fasting a day or two. They failed to call what time was the procedure so I called and they stated if he could come between 9 or 9:30 am which was about 30 minutes. So here we go..get there waited for about an an hour which was OK because there were alot.people. Then they called him and he went in, he come back in about 20 minutes and advised they weren't doing the.procedue because the person at the nurse saw him unbalance. Although the staff and personnel are very competent and professional, the ability of the staff to properly schedule patients and procedures is horrible. I was scheduled for an endoscopy at 8:45 a.m. and arrived at 8:30 a.m. I had to wait until 12:10 p.m. (3 hours and 25 minutes) to be called into the pre-op area. I then had to wait an additional hour to finally be wheeled into the surgical room. The procedure was very fast and efficient, although the doctor never introduced himself or had any bedside manner.
