They made my 5 year old autistic daughter fast after midnight before her surgery, they wanted us there by 8am.. they didn’t start her procedure til 11am. Meanwhile.. my daughter is crying and begging me for food and water… she was just hospitalized for 10 days in June for low blood sugar.. and when I go to the counter to ask for a update they say “everyone is fasting” I get that.. but not everyone fasting are adults.. not all kids with autism understand the fasting process. There has to be a better process for this..
