If you enjoy being harassed, Ambry is the company for you! Regardless of you telling them you didn’t approve a test or you didn’t consent to an order - they will still call and email you multiple times a day. Completely unethical and attempting to take advantage of people.
Horrible experience. While the customer service rep was nice, I paid my estimated amount due on July 20th, which was a large amount because I have a high deductible plan with an HRA. They submitted the claim to my insurance August 8th, and I have now called Ambry twice and my insurance twice. They aren't working together and I have since met my deductible through surgery, but they won't give me a refund since insurance hasn't processed the claim because they are waiting for information from Ambry. I am a senior on a fixed income and was assured by my Dr. I would not be billed. My Medicare and Medigap insurance is already costing me over $600. per month. I have filled out 2 out of pocket dispute forms explaining I get $15,000 a year Social Security and barely surviving. No one ever responds or answers the phone. After 13 years the testing provided by Ambry diagnosed me and gave me answers. The process was easy and the results for full xenome sequencing only took about 3 weeks and the cost share was exactly as estimated.
