Without a family doctor for a few years, I finally found a good one at Ambleside. Dr Pedro Gonzalez has been nothing less than professional, easy going, supportive, thorough and caring. He works very hard at this busy clinic and promptly faxes prescriptions, completes medical forms, provides notes and makes referrals to great specialists. The staff are a professional and respectful team. Their policies and protocols work best if you don't need babysitting and take responsibility as best you can for your own healthcare.

It has taken me a year to write this review about Dr. Gonzalez. The 18 months that he was my doctor I always felt rushed, and that my care was not a priority. Dr Gonzalez misdiagnosed my skin cancer; he said he had a special interest in dermatology, so I trusted him, and was never referred to an actual dermatologist. I understand that doctors make mistakes, but what I can’t get past is the utter lack of care when I was finally diagnosed. Save yourself. Don’t go! Rude. The Dr lacks a professional manner or skill and seems inexperienced in handling complex or sensitive health concerns. Also, it was discovered that while in discussion w the Dr, I was secretly being listened in on by a staff person via the Drs laptop. The staff person told me a month later. This is a betrayal of Dr/patient. I was more pleased to request a copy of my history and never go back again. Better no Dr than that sorry excuse of one.
