It has taken me a year to write this review about Dr. Gonzalez. The 18 months that he was my doctor I always felt rushed, and that my care was not a priority. Dr Gonzalez misdiagnosed my skin cancer; he said he had a special interest in dermatology, so I trusted him, and was never referred to an actual dermatologist. Save yourself. Don’t go! Rude. The Dr lacks a professional manner or skill and seems inexperienced in handling complex or sensitive health concerns. Also, it was discovered that while in discussion w the Dr, I was secretly being listened in on by a staff person via the Drs laptop. The staff person told me a month later. This is a betrayal of Dr/patient. I was more pleased to request a copy of my history and never go back again. Better no Dr than that sorry excuse of one.
I had made a phone appointment over 3 weeks ago for today. I left plenty of time on either side of the scheduled appointment as suggested. I did not receive a call within 1hr of my appointment as stated, and still haven't. I was sent a text to confirm my appointment and was not sent anything to cancel. And they take 2 hour lunches so I can't reach anyone. My time is valuable too. This is very disrespectful.
I was locked out of my online account and unable to book an appointment, when I finally got through to speak to someone, I was told they locked my account due to an outstanding bill from a year ago (this was surprising, as I was not informed of this). I reluctantly paid the $50+ as I was told it’s the only way to reactive my account. After I paid, I signed into the portal and there was no outstanding bill on my account, neither was there a receipt or confirmation of payment.
