This is my second time coming to this walk-in and was always greeted by the staff in a friendly tone. Dr Mansukhani was very direct, friendly and positive. Thanks again

We called the clinic at 5:07 PM and were told by the receptionist that we would be seen if we arrived by 5:15 PM. We live nearby and immediately rushed over with our very sick infant, arriving at 5:16 PM—just one minute past the stated time. Despite our urgency and the fact that it involved an unwell baby, the receptionist, who was white, flatly refused to let us in. She coldly stated, “I told you 5:15,” and turned us away. The clinic’s website clearly states they close at 6:00 PM, but we arrived at 5:16 PM with our sick 2-year-old, only to be coldly turned away by the receptionist. She claimed they only take walk-ins until 5:15 — one minute earlier — and showed zero empathy or concern. It was robotic and completely inhumane, especially considering it involved a sick child. Living in Canada, I’ve unfortunately come to expect substandard healthcare experiences, which I’ve encountered many times in the past. Naturally, I didn’t have high expectations when visiting Amberlea Health Clinic — but I was pleasantly surprised. I called ahead to check if there was a long wait, and they let me know it wasn’t busy. When I arrived, everything went smoothly.
