Many cardiologists would not not have done any intervention for a 91 year old and bypass surgery would have been of great risk. My Doctor was booked out. I In need or some pre-operative work ups, I was assigned Dr Vermuri. I found her attentive, empathetic and enjoyable. Next had a follow up visit with her and she actually felt compelled to follow up on some small threads related to some test results. Wow, Doctor involvement! Right then and there I told her I would be thrilled if she would be my Primary Care Physician going forward!
Difficult to get anything done. Did not address the issue. Staff refused to help. Long waits, rarely see in person. Takes up whole appointment going over information that the Nurse already took.
Dr. Edraki is the doctor you pray for when you find yourself "sick". His attention is focused solely on you and your health from your 1st appointment. He is so calming and kind when you are scared and lost and need a doctor to be your partner through surgery & treatment. There are not words to express my respect and appreciation for him. He is a doctor, but really, he is so much more.
My son saw Dr. Ruiz as a toddler through his teen years. Now that my son is 20 yrs old, we'll look back at the long history of excellent care with much gratitude. Dr. Ruiz is thorough, listens intently, and truly cares about offering the best solutions. When my son was hospitalized at a different hospital, Dr. Ruiz called to let me know he was still staying in the loop. And, he even asked how I was holding up. Dr J has been our PCP for over 25 years. You can often get a same day appointment and I have never waited for more than 10 minutes at his office. (He often works alone so you may have to wait for a same day call back.) He spends time with his patients and never rushes through your visit. I have referred several friends who appreciate his calm manner.
