No longer practicing. Malpractice settlement. Wife was 1 week away from surgery with this lady. We asked her point blank if she had ever had complications related to this surgery and she lied to our face.
Dr. Amber Gordon is rude and does not have a sincere concern for her patients. After waiting five months to see her (which I never did bc they had me see her PA at the last minute), an MRI , etc I was told by her nurse not her that "There is nothing Dr. Gordon can do for you, you will just have to take pain Meds!" I could write a small novel about my experience with her and some of the people she works with. Dr Gordon saved my brother's life after a severe motorcycle accident this month. She and her team worked hard to keep him alive and transfer him as soon aspossible to a level 1 trauma hospital in alabama. She was honest and kind when telling my mother and I of the seriousness of his injuries, showed us his CT scans and did everything she could to save him. Not only will he survive, but he will talk and walk again and we will be coming back to thank her and the entire NCCU team in person. Thank you.
