Actually stopped at this restaurant once and peeked in the door. We thought the bar was it and it appeared dark and deserted so we left. Some months later we purchased a Groupon for it and thought we'd try again. It turned out the restaurant is in the back of the bar (in a separate room) in a very attractive dining room with art work and soft music. Very pleasing overall. Was taken to dinner @ Amber restaurant as a Christmas gift. My friend ordered white borscht which she enjoyed, I had the cream of asparagus soup which was salty with no identifiable asparagus taste. My friend had duck which she requested to be crispy and it came completely black, the skin. She said it was so hard she couldn't cut thru it. ....As much as I would like this place to replace the Polish mother I never had, I could probably make better food with a microwave. Which actually may be what lil Amber uses in most of their cooking. I went once and it was OK, But when I went back for lunch it was pretty disgusting. I got the stuffed cabbage and the meat inside was actually cold, like frozen-in-the-center-wasn't-warmed-in-the-­microwave-enough cold. So unless your really strapped for cash and have an immunity to e.coli, I don't recommend it

An absolutely phenonmenal experience. Nice, soft music, an excellent attentive waitress and wonderfully delicious food. Superb atmosphere. A great value. I could not have been more pleased.
