By far the worst business owner I've ever come across ! I've read all the reviews before I had my own fun experience with the owner of Amber Jack Alehouse & I wouldn't belive the madness of this woman and this restaurant if I wouldn't have experienced it on my own. The way Kitty treats her customers and employees is disgusting. terrible food,terrible service and a very poor example of shop local buy local,spent 21.95 per person on a mothers day brunch advertiseing prime rib,ham and other meats hand carved,food was ice cold,no carveing stations,when we complained we were told the foods cold,theres nothing we can do it about it,if they dont like it they should have went some where else,how does an owner like this stay in buisness,BOYCOTT AMBERJACK ALE HOUSE .......................... I THINK KITTY GETS A BAD RAP- YOU JUST HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH HER. Be polite and respectful. AVOID DIRECT EYE CONTACT! It is vital to make Ms. Kitty feel that she not in a hostile situation. Try singing in a soft - soothing tone, “Soft kitty, Warm kitty, Little ball of fur”. (Never confuse the Sheldon version for the Phoebe Buffay version of “Smelly Cat”). Most Horrible Hospitality EVER – This place, actually named Amber Jack Alehouse, defies description. I don't believe there are any bad enough words in the English language to describe their customer service. I really don't understand why they are still in business, or why anyone would ever go back there, after being kicked around by the owners. I have never been treated so badly in my life! Speechless – Well I didn't want to say this before but now that I am not the only one I must say this has to be the worst restaurant in Springfield. I came in with my family and was told by the owner (who has horrible breath!) that we need to wait until she is sure that her server is ready to take tables. We waited for over half an hour. When I asked for a glass of water so my elderly mother could take her meds she stated that I should "give her a damn minute" and disappeared. Horrendous experience. ..the worst! Welcome to the Twilight Zone! – Bizarre! Kitty, the Hostess with the Mostess Attitude, turned a yearly get-together into a nightmare! Worst Expierence I ever had in a resteraunt – This resteraunt took 55 min to receive food and when complained to the owner, she was rude, disrespectful, thought is was acceptable to make us wait 55 min for food. Told us we should have went to mcdonalds (stated all food sits under warmers) or cracker barrel (which she stated fixes their food in microwaves) don't go here
