All the doctors up until her, had dismissed me and my symptoms. They accused me of faking or being on drugs. Dr Hetrick listened to me, validated my experiences, and gave me hope back. I am forever grateful to her and will recommend her to anyone and everyone experiencing neurological symptoms.

I was seeing dr Hetrick for periferal neurapathy, headaches and seizure control. After 4 years of being a patient i was told that I should go to my primary care for it. My symptoms were now effecting my back and rib cage. Even my clothes hurt, the pain in my back and legs is terrible. My primary dr is treating me. She isn't a neurologist. I have a referral to someone outside of parkview. I am so disappointed with how I was treated. Your compassion for your patients is gone.

I’m so disappointed with Dr. Hetrick… I have worked with her before and when I was in the ER and hospital at Parkview and I was actually happy to see her and work with her again. However, she was like a different person than the one I had initially met. She had a resident shadowing with her and I felt she was trying to show off in front of him like a child, I felt embarrassed for her. I find Dr Hetrick to be very understanding and engaging. I went to see her for treatment of flairs from trigeminal neuralgia. She listened to my concerns and prescribed a new medication to be taken as needed for the pain. It has really worked for me. She also ordered labs and an MRI, which attested to her thoroughness and care. I appreciate her very much.
