First I would like to say she doesn’t deserve the 1 star. She has been my primary for over 10 years, I followed her from Bronson to Borgess and that’s when it all went bad!Short version of past to present.She used to be bubbly, patient, caring and a good listener. I saw Dr. Darey for years, even followed her to Borgess. She suddenly sent me a message when I tried to renew my meds for diabetes, hbp, thyroid, migraines....that I was overdue for a physical and she could not manage my care this way. She said she would fill my meds for 3 months and then she could no longer be my provider. I was shocked....but I gladly started looking, but no one can get you in for a new patient appt in 3 months. Very judgment. Discharged me from her practice for using a pain medication TOO LITTLE but fluctuating how I use it, which is NORMAL!! I sometimes went 3ish months without filling a 30 day prescription yet she discharged & accused me of lying when I then need it. She didn't even have a verbal conversation with me prior to discharging me, it was all through EMR although I requested a call or visit, she flat out refused then sent certified letter stating she would provide 30 days of my meds [including all my other chronic condi... read more
Dr. Darey listens and asks for my input after presenting options. She's efficient, kind and knowledgeable. I recommend Dr. Darey.
I am happy to have Dr. Darey once again as my caretaker. She is outstanding. Also happy to see her in an office setting that is attentive, professional and ready to assist to the best of their ability. Saw her recently and she went above and beyond to diagnose me and help me in my healthy path forward.
Dr. Darey has beeb my doctor for about 10 years. I find her to be very friendly, open and easy to talk to. I think she has a very balanced approach to medicine--no excessive treatments/tests but does do what you need. Highly recommend.

Dr. Darey Thomas started out as a great doctor- I recommended her to many and loved her outgoing personality. Over the course of the past 6 years though, she has gotten less friendly, even to the point of being very rude. After several visits of frustration, I have decided to leave her practice and find a doctor who actually cares and not one who rushes through you to get to the next appointment. Disappointing.
