Highly recommend Amber – Went to Amber with a group of 8 people and had a wonderful evening. The service was excellent. The host was so friendly and made us feel like the most important table in the place. Absolutely loved short ribs with chocolate cabernet sauce and creamy mashed potatoes. Filet of FAT – I'd been to Amber before many times for drinks with the girls. This time I'm entertaining an out-of-town friend who is a self-proclaimed "foodie". We have a couple wines, pretty nice. Server checks on us FIVE times while we're deciding on our starters. It's a Tuesday night so it's quiet. I have the Crab Tower. Tasty. More "checking" on us by the server. Annoying. Still quiet.
