I'd recommend doing some research. Most of their reviews are of the initial consult because they offer incentive to do that. This should have been a red flag. I was told I could reach desired results a certain way and was sold on that concept from Raj Ambay. A year later, not happy with the results, I'm finding out from multiple other surgeons that I was essentially lied to and now looking to use someone else to truly get those results. Do your research and shop around so you don't make the same mistake I did.

I paid for a consultation and really liked the Dr. and Sarah. I was provided a proposal for everything but I do not wish to do all of the procedures at once and asked for the cost of the one procedure that I initially booked. My email went unanswered for well over a week and even my phone call was not returned. Ambay is blessed to be selective in who gets a surgery and apparently I am not one of them. Ended up selecting a different Dr.

I wanted to update my review of Dr. Ambay. In full disclosure, I'm a retired nurse and actually was honored to be trained in the special post op care of Dr. Ambay's DIEP patients. Through taking care of many of his patients in the hospital, I came to know him very well. From the very first phone call, I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Ambay and his incredible staff. Every step of the process—from the initial consultation to the follow-up calls—was handled with kindness, patience, and genuine care. They took the time to answer all of my questions, made sure I felt comfortable, and never made me feel rushed or unheard. Their professionalism combined with their warm, understanding approach truly sets them apart. I can't recommend Dr. Ambay and his team highly enough!
