The Ambassador Motel is truly one of Sault Ste. Marie’s hidden gems - tucked along Highway 17/Great Northern Road as you come in from the north, and absolutely worth the stop. I usually stay elsewhere when I’m in town, but my regular spot was fully booked this trip. I’m honestly glad it was, because this motel has earned a permanent place on my list. Nice and clean and easy access.very friendly and accommodating.will stay again.
We are traveling with 2 dogs, the green space for the dogs was ideal, with the benefit of having patio doors in the rooms to the back, and away from the road and parking lot. Rooms were very clean, and the owner was very friendly and polite! We ended up canceling another hotel on our way back and booking again here! This will be our place to stay in this city!
We had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador Motel. We had a dog and the pet room was perfect: clean, bright and didn't smell at all! And my son smells everything. We were able to park our truck and 35 foot travel trailer in the parking lot but had to back in (We tried going in first and it didnt work). We would definitely stay here again. Its a great motel for a great price.
An absolutely lovely little motel ran by an equally lovely owner. Pool was warm, rooms are clean and cozy. Support small businesses and stay here, you won't regret it! Were staying in the pet friendly room and not one single issue. 10/10
