STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. The cabins LOOKED nice online, but when you arrive, it’s a different story. Dirty is an understatement. The place was all-around horrible. We had a family reunion in one of your cabins For 31 people and paying $19k. The unlit was dirty, insufficient in silverware, only one of 4 microwaves worked. Worst though was a bed bug infestation. One of us was bitten many times, including on her face and had to miss a day of work due to a severe reaction to the bites. We entered the cabin on Birds Nest Way in TN, Saturday evening. The cabin was not cleaned thoroughly. The bathroom showers had mold around the floor and the grout was filthy. The kitchen floor was also dirty and didn't appear to have been mopped. The carpet in the living room didn't appear to have ever been vacuumed or cleaned. Please beware of the policies of this company. My Dad had booked a cabin for him and his kids and grandkids. He is battling cancer and was hospitalized the week we were supposed to arrive. The company would not allow the family to come without him. We could provide any documentation needed from his drivers license to credit cards to hospital records to my ID matching his address and last name but nothing would be accepted by them, only us to repay the $5200 in our name. I booked a cabin with this company for the dates of July 20th -July 23. This was for my 25th wedding Anniversary. The first night we stayed I thought I had an allergic reaction to something I had marks on my face and back and was swelling. So, I began to take Benadryl, because my husband and son were fine. I booked a vacation rental with this company through VRBO. Amazing Views' printed rental agreement said no refunds for cancellations, while VRBO said I would have almost a year. Amazing Views said they honored VRBO's cancellation guarantee, but they would not give me this in writing and I was told I would have to sign the rental agreement which said I understood no cancellation. Barbara, Thanks for reaching out. As explained before, our cabins are also listed on external partner sites for additional exposure, such as VRBO. These 3rd party sites will try to match our cancellation policy, but because you originally booked on the VRBO platform, their cancellation policy of 60 days supersedes our own. We offered Deposit Protection, which would give you the benefit of changing dates or rescheduling your stay inside the 60 day cancellation period. We apologize for any confusion.
We rented cloud 9 this week and were very disappointed. It was filthy. It took us two hours wipe down,sweep, clean the showers and sinks. ( I have pictures showing before and after). I think the only Things your cleaning crew cleaned was the toilets and the stove. The basement shower has black mold in it. They changed the hot tub water but when we turned it on, it spit out this black brown grunge stuff. It is disgusting. Don't bother with them! We couldn't cook because grill was nasty and they didn't leave us anything to clean it with. Couldn't use kitchen pots & skillets because they were extremely scratched up stuff was chipping off of them. Also only 2 forks were there in a "fully equipped kitchen" that holds 4 people. Couldn't work the hot tub until we found the knob to it behind a bench. They don't give you pillows for the pullout couch. TV in the living room didn't work.
