Eddy at Amax Lighting was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He knew exactly what I was talking about in housewife terms. I don’t have an Electrical Engineering Degree, but he was able to figure what I needed just from my description. Wow! He was a life saver!

I recently bought a replacement power pack for my under the cabinet puck light system made by Amax. After many years of use the original board died so I installed the new one. While it worked, it was defective as the lights would not stay on and would go off or the lighting setting would change at random. I bought it through Amazon. The paper that came with it in the box said to call a toll free number before returning it, which I did. Buyer beware. I bought an under counter light and the ballast burnt out within a day. They would not replace the faulty fixture and wanted me to pay restocking fees and return shipping. Terrible customer service and cheap Chinese ballasts.
