Do not order DoorDash. Amato's only gave part of the food order to DoorDash and when I called them at the Gorham store they said there is nothing they can do about it even though my food was sitting on the counter. They said call DoorDash. The person driving DoorDash said he asked twice if that was all of the order and the Amato's employee told him yes. I only wanted a small Italian! I got an oily slopping mess- one peice of ham a huge pickle and 3 lbs of tomatoes. It was a mess I went back. The girl remade the sub- this time-there was no ham- 1 peice of capicola that was warm and tasted bad, 1 salami, 1 peice of cheese, a whole pickle 3 lbs of thick cut timatoes- I said easy on the oil and they slopped it on again. 2nd attempt was a fail. I paid $7, put $2 in the tip jar, ate nothing for lunch. Young ppl seem very challenged making a sandwhich these days. 🙄😡😓
Dining room tables were all dirty,, I mean every single one...the girl that made our sandwiches was super nice and personable though
Best Italian sandwiches in Maine! They do not skimp on the veggies - especially the tomatoes!
