Always love the original Italian! A treat when returning to Maine. Crisp vegetables and super soft bread. Amato’s does it right!
Stopped by as it was recommended for a place for a good local cheap eat. We got the cheese bread and meatball sandwhich. Both were delicious. Though it is mainly for take out, there are some tables to dine in. The tables were a little dirty, but someone came around cleaning them right when we sat down. Great price for $12 for a footlong sandwhich which we shared.
Good place for pizza takeout. Cheese, pepperoni, and veggie pizza were good. The crust could be thinner and crispy. The sauce had a good taste.
