We gave Damien a broad brief to design a "native" landscape. Our home is at the end of a battleaxe block so we were after "curb appeal" but without the curb - it had to be something that was low maintenance, hardy and attractive. The land sloped south down to north and east down to west and curved. It needed "tiering" (3 tiers) and Damien integrated a truly wonderful native landscape with fabricated steel panels (laser cut with Banksia, Cockatoos and Galahs). Amaroo Gardens transformed the front of our us into something we are well and truly proud of. From design to execution, Damien was detailed orientated, thoughtful, and displayed his extensive knowledge of what would suit our needs. Highly recommended to all those looking to level-up their garden.
Damien successfully landscaped my two new-build properties - a house in 2021 and a unit in 2024. They were on small sloping blocks and needed a relatively economical and low maintenance result. Damien dealt with the challenges of starting from building sites with all the remnants of the building process that brings to the project. Damien has done a great job landscaping our front and rear gardens, including installing Coreten retaining walls and irrigation system, designing the layout of the gardens, selecting and planting suitable plants. Damien and Amanda are a pleasure to deal with, very professional, flexible and friendly. I can certainly recommend Amaroo Gardens.
Damien worked hard and was meticulous and efficient. We are very happy with the results and found him very easy to work with. I would recommend him to anybody.
