Food is good, and I hail from Kansas City, so high praise here. What’s unforgivable for me is a pattern of ordering pickup and waiting 15-20 minutes beyond the specified pickup time. Amarillo ownership hear me, it’s 2026 and online ordering systems ought to be semi-accurate, don’t accept orders for a time if you can’t accommodate. Been here before and enjoyed it. Was hit or miss around 8 or 9 years ago with some cold tacos and dry meat but since then has been quite good. Our family dropped by on a Tuesday thinking they were closed on Mondays only, with a hankering for their wrapped jalapeños. Chef Gordo was there smoking meats and let us know it’d be ready the next day. We came back on Thursday for lunch and wow. Highly recommend their brisket and ribs. Side dishes are also delicious. Our favorites are the coleslaw, corn bread with honey butter and the Texas corn. Service and Staff were excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the pulled pork. It was a bit dry. However there are many items to choose from that are scrumptious.
