Went on Friday evening and was able to get seated without a reservation as there were plenty of seats available. The food was decent but in my opinion overpriced. The food and atmosphere seems closer to that of a casual restaurant, but it's priced higher than the ones I'm used to visiting in The City. The spiced half chicken and bone marrow bucatini were pretty good. The whole branzino was ok, and the smoked beef short rib was very underwhelming, I would skip this one.
Serene and peaceful patio, attentive service and delicious food. This was the lunch experience and I will be back for dinner in the main restaurant.

Dining at Amara was a wonderful experience. It is such a pleasure to have a place in our town where you can enjoy such delicious food. Every single bite was a delight for the taste buds. The ambiance and décor have been beautifully designed, and the outdoor seating area creates a fresh, natural, and green environment. Simply looking outside is a pleasure in itself. Amara has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants - top 3 in the Bay Area for Mediterranean food. The quality of their ingredients is like farm to table, and their sister restaurants are two of my favorite Indian in the Bay Area as well. I will be frequently this place!
