Very good surgeon but poor back- office staff. He and his assistant Julie Pate do not return calls asking advice for problems just 4 days after surgery.
Doctor and staff are arrogant, rude and disrespectful, and refuse to cooperate with insurance. I had a consultation for surgery (after getting past the snooty receptionist), but the doctor did not ask me any questions about my symptoms, history, goals, etc. or consult in any way, just complained about some report the whole time as if he were mad at me (weird way to great a new patient). Definitely no signs of caring about me as the patient. I would not let a person like this perform surgery on me no matter how good a surgeon... read more
Dr. Ranawat is the best. Did my ACL reconstruction last year and now my shoulder this year. He is an awesome doctor and couldn’t recommend him more. They are an extremely busy office which I think is the reason for some of the reviews but if you find a doctor that isn’t this busy, I would think twice. Thank you as always Dr R!
I had an accident that resulted in a torn gluteus medius, basically the muscle that attaches my leg to my hip tore. I couldn't walk properly. I found Dr. Ranawat through the HSS Referral system. I was nervous about having surgery but i was fearful of anesthesia. Dr. Ranawat reviewed my diagnostics, examined me and determined i did indeed need to have that gluteus repaired.
