Dr. Patel has great bedside manners. But totally deformed my hand and took away the function of my middle finger. I had a completely functional hand prior to surgery, albeit unable to fully straighten my middle finger. After the two surgeries with Dr. Patel, not only is my finger worse off than it was prior to surgery, ive also lost the function to fully flex my middle finger, resulting in an inability to make a full fist, and the finger has formed a mallet/swan neck deformity which was not present prior to the surgery. Dr.Patel is a rare find. He’s got a great “bedside manner,” listens to you and is conservative in his approach. I was suffering from carpal tunnel in both hands and got relief from a simple injection. If I do need surgery, I know where I’m going.
