Great pizza! Especially for take out. This is excellent gourmet pizza. They have a huge variety of toppings and specialty pizzas and I have never been disappointed. The pizza shop itself isn't the most glamorous place, so I prefer take out or delivery, but the food far outweighs the ambiance.
Good pizza... all else questionable The pizza is great.... unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can post. We bought a groupon for the store, worth $50 dollars of pizza. When we showed up at the store, we were told that we could only redeem a maximum of $20 dollars per visit and we could only order large pizzas (neither of these facts were included in the detail on the write up whe we purchased the coupon). Gourmet Pizza A Cut Above the Rest Amante Gourmet Pizza is located at the Shoppes of Hope Valley in Durham and is consistent in living up to its gourmet reputation as always having fresh ingredients and delicious pizza, wraps, and salads every time I visit. The service is friendly and the restaurant is clean at all times without exception. If you want to count on excellent pizza or italian every time you order then choose Amante.
GOURMET PIZZA- You haven't had real pizza until you have this! I love Amante's Pizza. It is made and baked fresh as you order it. I always get the Pollo Resistance (bbq chicken with red onions and cilantro)- it is absolutely fabulous. You get what you pay for- it's not cheap but it is delicious!
