Looking for good local Italian food, I ended up reserving a table at Amano Bistro. I love seafood, but I usually order it also as a test of how good the cooking is. If a restaurant can cook octopus correctly they can probably cook everything well.- so I tried the octopus. It was the best I've had. I’ve visited several times over the past few years. The menu used to change quite a bit seasonally, but on my most recent visit, it seemed like they had finally settled on a more permanent menu. One thing that surprised me was the separate cash and card pricing, with a noticeable difference between the two. Personally, I’d rather they just make it cash-only if the price gap is going to be that substantial.
