Dismissive, unprofessional and overall just not what a woman needs w gyno care. If u can't understand the anxiety an appointment creates in someone. u probably shouldn't be doing it.
I had my son via emergency c-section on March 18th, 2020 by Gerald Curd. I didn’t consent to them taking my son out of me because I was in a 2.5 hour-long seizure. I was treated horribly by the staff at Mercy and I saw Gerald for literally a second before he said he was putting me under anesthesia that I also couldn’t consent to, to cut me open. Came in for a blood test to test if I was pregnant.. they gave me a pee test which were in water cups. Then the doctor comes in almost demanding a Pap smear I had to turn it down and say no 4 times. NEVER told me if I was pregnant or not had to ask for my blood test which I originally scheduled the appointment for. Then confusingly asked the lady who does blood if the pee test was for pregnancy and she said yes it’s positive . Would’ve been nice for the doctor to tell me.
