The cabin was super-clean and well equipped. The views from all the windows and the deck are gorgeous - beautiful horses and rolling hills and pastures. It was heavenly to hike around the farm and the owners were kind and friendly. We loved the privacy, unlike a B & B and the location is perfect - five minutes from shopping, restaurants and tourist sites in Lexington. Wonderful, pet-friendly getaway.
It was only 3 days of vacation with record breaking heat, but it was still the best vacation we had in 12 years, beating out San Diego, Disneyland, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, and more. Being able to sit on the porch of the cabin at Lazy Acres and watch the mountains and horses was idyllic. The cabin is well maintained, very comfortable, with an equipped kitchen and gas grill on the porch. We got to have hugfests with horses and visit with the resident dogs. We have stayed at Lazy acres several times over the last four years. The cabins are in a beautiful pastoral setting. They are comfortable, immaculate and well equipped. The location is perfect, just minutes from Lexington and all the great shops, restaurants and tourist attractions that it has to offer We particularly enjoy grilling and dining on the deck while enjoying the beautiful mountain views and sunsets. Lazy Acres is our "home away from home" several times a year when we visit Lexington. It is always my first choice when planning a stay there.The cabins feel brand new and are always clean and in great condition. The kitchen is fully equiped and theres a washer/dryer if you need it. The mountain views from the porch are spectacular and Lexington (with restaurants, movie theater, universities, shops) is a short drive. We recently spent several days at Lazy Acres in Lexington Virginia. We occupied one of the cabins. Lazy Acres has two cabins right on a horse farm that overlooks the mountains up in the Shenandoah. The cabin was spotless, there is an equipped kitchen. However, there were plenty of restaurants around. We went for relaxation, it was beautiful, relaxing and a pleasure to be able to sit out on the deck and just enjoy.
