Love having her as a primary. The whole office experience is great.
Dr. Thomas came across as slightly rude and condescending. She made several comments that were individually disparaging so together, they added up to leave a very disappointing experience for me. When establishing care, having a patient-centered and caring approach is very important so that long-term trust can be built. It was an absolute miracle that I found dr. Thomas after searching for a primary doctor that would take me on as a new patient with all of my medical issues she was the first doctor that said she would see me through after being turned away by five previous doctors. that said I was too complicated as far as my existing health issues moving up to Missouri back with my family from Florida. I think the heavens above for her and I know she will direct me in the right direction
It was time to find a new doctor as my previous nurse practitioner and I were not a great fit (major weight bias and constant focus on weight loss despite my eating disorder history).
