Dr. Amanda Carroll was a true blessing during one of the most painful moments of my life. She performed my D&C and walked me through my miscarriage with so much compassion, gentleness, and understanding. From the very beginning, she made me feel seen, heard, and cared for—not just as a patient, but as a person. Her calm presence and genuine kindness brought me comfort when I needed it most. I will always be grateful for the way she supported me through such a heartbreaking experience. I cannot recommend Dr. Carroll enough.
I asked about if there were different types of pcos and what type I had. She said theres only one type. Er wrong. I asked if pcos can worsen period pain she said no. Also wrong. I asked her recently to check my pcos to ease my mind and she asks me what do you mean check? Then told me birth control cures the pcos. She treats me like im stupid and im about done with it. So disheartening.
I had a great experience with Dr Carroll. She was very compassionate and down to earth/relatable. I appreciate someone who will be direct with me, and she is exactly the kind of doctor I would trust with my medical care.
A little PSA for anyone looking for an OB: I have been seeing Dr. Hutz for 7 years at the Mercy OB office in Festus and she is absolutely amazing. However, when becoming pregnant you see all the OBs at this office to prepare for delivery day and who might be on call. Today I had the very unfortunate pleasure of meeting Dr. Amanda Carroll.
