She was amazing from the time I met with the consult to the surgery for a double hernia. I had a follow up after surgery and she treats you like part of a family.
My mother went in for a Bariatric Consult with Dr. Messina after having previously had another procedure with the doctor. During her first encounter with Dr. Messina my mother was pleased with her demeanor and the services she provided. Years later when my mother returned to her as a patient she was met with a completely different person. Dr. Messina was rude, unprofessional by discussing my mother in a hallway with her staff, and passed comments about my mothers personal appearance during the consult.
