My daughter and I spent a weekend get away at the Amana Inn. It is a basic accommodation but most definitely economical and comfortable. I appreciate Wendy for being flexible with the check in and check out time. Such great hospitality! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We had an unplanned stay in Harvey due to vehicle trouble, and the kindly manager came to pick us up from a location in the town and took us to the motel, as it was after dark. Then she charged us a reduced rate, which was good of her. On the negative side, we had no toiletries with us (long story!) and there was only a small cake of soap provided in the room - none of the usual shampoo etc one generally finds. Very friendly staff, old but clean well kept rooms.
Nice clean rooms in the heart of Harvey. Bathroom and kitchen area looked to have been recently renovated. Wendy was great to deal with, good old fashioned country service made booking direct very easy. Overall good value for money.
