Amakara Normally I prefer Italian/Continental cuisine, a few of my friends invited me here. Pleasant surprise. The meat was just amazing. As an appetizer, the Kobe beef tartar topped with a quail egg is perfection. The salmon fillet steak for is heavenly. The side orders, such as yakitori or roasted root vegetables, are also excellent. Just when you think you can't eat any more, Amakara offers a range of special desserts, including mochi Ice-Cream makes a chef happy.
Found A Big Fish Bone In The Nigiri Sushi Their nickname is "The Fish Bone" because my husband found a thick bone in his shiro maguro nigiri! The manager offered us a dessert on the house and when we declined, she took off the shiro maguro nigiri from our bill.

The manager offered us a dessert on the house and when we declined, she took off the shiro maguro nigiri from our bill. Besides the bone issue, their quality of fish wasn't very good and they don't serve generous portions of sushi. We won't be back to Amakara...no matter how fancy the decor, it's all about the food.
