Dr. Amacka and her team are very good and efficient, as well as conscientious. They are, all three including Dr. Amacka Akinade:(Summer and LaShonda) are kind, gentle with the touch, warm and caring. They are genuinely nice!
I was referred to the wound clinic for injury from MVA. My NP at Clear Lake did her best but it was not healing well. Amaka was amazing. She not only explained the home care needed, she reassured me that I would be seeing improvement in 4 weeks. She monitored my progress weekly and I felt so well taken care of. Summer was absolutely wonderful. She managed to get me seen the week that I called. She was kind, gentle and very informative. I had am open wound from hip to hip that required a wound vac & Amaka and Summer were incredible! They were understanding, compassionate, knowledgeable and so incredibly accommodating during my treatment. Their encouragement kept me going. The first doctor I saw (at a different clinic)said that she had little hope for me being better before six months… With Amaka and Summer, they had me well on my way in a little over two months. Praise be to God.!
