Where do I start? This review is for the Amada Senior Care out of Annapolis, MD. This company's staff is full of people who care about what they do...from the owner, to the office staff, to the care givers. The owner met with us right off the bat to introduce us to his business as my mother was coming home from the hospital with minimum needs from the care givers. Where do I start? From the owner and their corporate team to our daily caregivers...AWESOME! Communication is great and the caregiving offers a personal touch where my 94 year old father just shared today, "Leon is my friend". He feels the same way about Lamont. Bottom line - Amada CARES. The billing process is seamless and error free. Having the need for long term care creates a level of natural stress. I wanted to thank Amada for the wonderful care that you all made possible for mom her last few months. I don’t know what I would have done without the two caregivers that shared in my mom’s care! They are both truly angels and I always felt comfortable leaving her in their hands when I had to go to work. Both ended up totally devoted to mom and both of them went above and beyond what was expected of them for mom. Caregiving for an aging parent is certainly one of the most unanticipated and challenging experiences we encounter . Unanticipated, because although aging is inevitable, decline is something we are rarely well prepared for, much less trained to take on.
