AMAC is no longer the organization it started out to be. I got a flat tire on a major highway when i called for roadside assistance I got an Asian/China Call center. They could not determine my location or send a sim messages for a link. I was stranded for hours as it was a Sunday. I had to pay out of pocket for a tow truck. I do not recommend AMAC as they do not have the values they started out with. I was forced to pick one star!
I left AARP for AMAC because I did not like my dues going to liberal politicians. Upon talking to agents of AMAC I enrolled in AMAC Roadside Assistance. I purchased the premium for my entire family. My 17 yr. old daughter was getting on a freeway when she caught a chunk of metal in her tire. She called Roadside Assistance, an hour later no tow truck, she called again. Just make sure you read amac’s view on social security benefits. They actually want to reduce benefit’s for the higher earners.
