Dr Lubrano is the best endocrinologist but he needs to get out of this group. You can never reach anyone Via the phone to get meds filled or make an appointment and what good is a patient portal if it doesn’t work correctly to get meds filled or ask the dr questions! Poor patient service when we need help!
I like my doctor and the staff are nice when they answer the phone but getting your medication they want to put you on is impossible. Issues every single time. With every medication I have ever tried to get here. Back and fourth calls (days go by) and the crazy thing is whomever the information is being told to it gets lost in translation and they don’t follow through with what is needed in order to get the medication. I don’t know if it’s reception, or the doctor, or both. It’s too bad.
Don't even bother, they make you and your doctor jump through hoops to get scheduled. Then when you finally call to get scheduled they make you feel like you aren't truly a sick enough patient to be seen. Apparently my doctor sending two referrals isn't good enough, they need him to jump through hoops to prove I've been seeing endocrinologists since 2018. So if you need an endocrinologist, do not come here!
Update: Dr. Lundberg is no longer with AMA Health as of summer 2024. - - - - - - - - 5 stars for Dr. Nina Lundberg (see my review at Bradenton Internal Medicine). The only critique I can share is that this office does not offer bloodwork/specimen testing on site. It can be quite inconvenient to plan around 2 separate doctor appointments (1 for bloodwork and 1 to see the physician) but Dr. Lundberg is great.
Lundberg is a great doctor. Listens and spends some time with me and my wife.
