Went to renew my driver's license early before all the new rules come i to effect. Nobody there. Zipped right through.
The printer for passport photos has been broken for more than a week. Upon my second visit it was still not fixed… The reception person was unapologetic about it and told us to go to another location if we want to the photos done. Membership fees are not cheap and increase every year. How hard is it to get two printers to make sure at least one works at all times? We even tried to call the location about it beforehand, but was hanged up right after we asked about the photo printer… Really disappointed :/
I recently visited this AMA office to obtain an International Driving Permit. Unfortunately, my date of birth was printed incorrectly. My correct birth date is the 31st, but the permit was issued showing the 21st. Thankfully, I checked the document immediately after leaving the counter and returned to have it corrected. If I had not noticed the error until arriving overseas, it could have caused serious problems when renting a vehicle or using the permit. I spoke with the assistant manager to explain my concerns.
