They sent an email about renewing on my account except I had closed the account 4 months ago. So I called in and found that the person hadn't actually cancelled my account. Today's rep couldn't help nor could a supervisor they are going to call me back within 5 business days.
Their process of dealing with the temporary buildings leaves MUCH to be desired. Staff are rather unhelpful and keep kicking you out of the building, then ask for information and ID they've already seen :(
Terrible customer service in general not just with the store but AMA themselves. Next to impossible to reach any help and when I did the lady that helped me with the thing I had asked her to help did absolutely nothing. I had asked her to cancel my AMA insurance and now I’m still getting billed when she had told me it’s canceled and you won’t be billed again. The place is almost closed because of renovations. There is limited service in temporary trailers but waiting time is ridiculously long and in a tent. Don't go.
I've tried giving AMA the benefit of the doubt for the last two years. Despite my insurance being pulled out different dates every month, the drastic change in prices when I moved from Red Deer to Calgary and complete lack of communication from this company, I truly thought they were trying to help me as a customer.
