New to AMA and enjoying the services I have used so far. Great discounts on gift cards (helps with groceries), national park and ski passes plus free passport photos. People are friendly and great customer service. Hope to check out more services soon like travel. Will miss the old location as it was easy to get to and had great parking. I also wish they were open Sunday. But respect the old school value of having a day off.
Lovely new space at Westbrook. However they no longer have an international bank machine which is super inconvenient. Sadly the adjacent BMO doesn't typically have anything but US cash and charges a premium.
I've been paying fees for about 10 years without any benefit. The one time I do need them I was told 2 hours. It's now 4 hours and their robo caller has called me about 5 times saying they are late and don't know when they can make it. That is bad service I don't care how cold it is. Now I am questioning my need for them at all. I think I would have been better off on my own, and about $1000 ahead of the game.
I am a little upset about booking my drivers test here. I booked in November and they cancelled my test because they had no examiner for the day. So then I rebooked on their next available day which was in February and they wouldn't let me take the test because I was a few minutes late. I totally understand it was my fault for being late, but my test time was at 9:15 and I arrived at 9:10 but because I wasn't there early enough they wouldn't let me take my test and charged me the FULL TEST without taking it.
