I brought my boat in and had a great conversation with Andy, that was the only positive I have to say. I came in with two batteries left with one, zipties used instead of the hose clamps that were mere inches away, 3 screws sitting on the bottom that were not put back on, parts that were taken off were not put back on, a drain plug was used in place of a heat sensor, wires that were once attached but are no longer attached, meanwhile I was told it would be a few hundred dollars quickly turned in over one grand $ , the boat s... read more
Andy and his wife were very helpful. My tilt/trim pump went out, and Andy immediately came out of the shop and diagnosed it as soon as I pulled up. He offered to temporarily fix it so we could get back on the water and enjoy the rest of the weekend. However, we elected to just leave it with them until it was fixed. They replaced the pump faster and cheaper than I ever expected. We showed up and the team was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in getting us back on the water safely and quickly. I do most of my own boat engine maintenance, but when I run into a problem that requires a special tool or experience that I don't have, I don't hesitate to take my boat to Andy. He is also a great source of information on all things concerning boat moters. He and Michelle (Andy's wife and partner) are always friendly and their service prices are competitively priced.
