Bought a used bike today and it was a GREAT experience! I did a test ride and something felt off and they replaced the wheel with no additional charge. They installed a rack and explained everything to me clearly. Very quick on the repair and install too. Great experience all around!
R.I.P. Karl Becker. Sadly, back in the fall of 2018 Karl suffered a major stroke and passed away. To this day I still miss his wit, humor and sarcasm. I also miss Raleigh (USA) bicycles – which Karl sold and maintained. To the rescue came Jeff Gerhardt, taking over St. Louis’ oldest bike shop, originally founded in 1929. A&M Cyclery in St. Louis is a gem for local cyclists. As someone who's been going there for the past three years, I can vouch for their excellent service and expertise. I put a lot of miles on my bike, and over time, A&M has fixed pretty much every part of it. What's impressive is their consistency - the quality of service has remained top-notch throughout my experiences with them. One of the best things about A&M is the friendly atmosphere.
