Had the right front rotor/pad assy replaced in Homer, AK shop 8 months ago. Same grinding noise started up again 2 weeks ago. A friend checked all the rotors then replaced right rear rotor. Both rear brake pads were down to metal. The charge for changing out just the one front rotor & both front pads was $1888 and they apparently couldn't be bothered to check ALL the pads during that visit!!!!! Usually a great place for repairs! This time was disappointing. They forgot to do some of the work requested, another issue came up as soon as the vehicle was "done" and it had to be returned for additional services. Worst was not writting down the work I requested and then blaming me. Hmm. It is a technique, but not one if you expect a good review.
The manager John took great care of me. They did the best job with what they had to work with, great customer service!
I want to say thank you to Alyeska Homer, specifically assistant manager Jon Rudy for making things right. After a wheel debacle not from this location, he made sure follow through happened to make it right. Had been trying for over a year to get resolution and Jon and his team got it done. I’m lucky he didn’t fire me as a customer because I was a lot of work, but he was always kind and patient and said he just wanted to make the customer happy! He did!
