While Dr Chen and his staff are great, they receive poor support from admin/management at Sutter Health. The main lobby chairs were removed about 2 years ago, and replaced with uncomfortable benches with no backs (and no ability to do social distancing) ... despite admin promises to return the chairs, it hasn't been done.
Great human interaction. Took time to talk and answer all of our questions. Gave direct, frank, feedback and explanations.
I did enjoy meeting up with Dr. Chen. He is very clear about my diagnosis and he even remember conversation we had like at least six months ago.
Dr. Alvin took the time to explain everything clearly, listened to all my concerns, and provided thoughtful, thorough care. I felt confident and well-supported throughout my visits.
I was referred to see Dr Alvin Chen by my primary care doctor. He is a great doctor, very attentive, and answered all of my questions. For one of my concern, he ordered a blood test and reviewed the result within the same day. I really appreciated his responsiveness.
