Had to get blood work drawn for my kiddo, the wait was horrible even though it was pretty empty, also they had to stick my toddler twice. It was a horrible experience…
This place sucks. I just fasted for 12 hours to get a blood draw here. My doctor wanted me to get it done at 8am when they are supposed to open. I show up at 8am, no one's there, door's locked. I waited until 845am, another patient finally got a hold of a rep on the phone who said they're not opening till 10am due to staffing issues. They gave zero notice of this on the door. Very unprofessional. I see they get a lot of lousy reviews in general. I'm not coming back.
We came in few minutes earlier for my husband blood draw and other test this morning. I did not call them because I knew it would be open at 7am for patients that are fasting. But it is not they open at 8 am, we should have just went to Ascension ABMC in Elk Grove, they open at 7am. We came here because all my husband doctor are from ST A and his doctor ordered Alverno lab for blood draw, we are okay with the order, but should lab facility open early? They couldn't have done anything better. There were three people in front of me and despite that I only waited 10 minutes for a blood draw. I'm bad with needles, and the tech did a fantastic job doing the draw very quickly with a single stick. The results were posted to their website about 30 hours later for easy viewing. They offer a 20% discount on any outstanding balance if it is paid within 10 days of the bill being sent.
Debbie/Deb is not well versed in companys policies, I was given misinformation & staff & site manager were not very helpful. After calling & speaking to another representative & their supervisor they were able to inform me that I COULD bring my sibling in for blood work with written consent from their parent & a copy of parents ID. Staff/manager at this location could have given us that option instead of turning us away.
