Went on a Monday morning. Surgeon wanted labs to see if I had an infection that is causing my severe pain. By Thursday, I had called twice for results and doctor called 3 times. They were supposedly faxing to doctor's phone number, even though they repeated back the correct fax number. Finally had them emailed to MY email address Thursday evening. I'm the patient; why do I have to be do all of the calling to this haphazard lab? They need to step it up.
The registration process is chaotic. Note that it was never like this before. I have been coming to this lab (Munster location) for over 10 years. They have two ladies working at the front, but only one is processing registrations. They get the order out of sorts by peeling off the registration labels and placing them haphazardly on the side of their printer. “It’s just the two of us” is their excuse. Dee is the best. I have contacted Dee in Hammond for a lab bill recently. She is super kind, friendly, respectful and supportive. She would always answer the phone at 5pm when she was supposed to go home. She would take her time and provide any information I need. Her kindness and thoughtfulness truly made my day. I appreciate all her time and help.
