Horrible doctor! STAY AWAY or look for a second opinion!
He is truly the best around! Dr. Alvarez is so honest and straight-forward in his approach to medicine, it's quite refreshing! He is so knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to maternal/fetal medicine, I would recommend anyone (and I already have recommended friends/family) go see him and his colleagues at HUMC. I have two beautiful baby boys thanks to this incredible team of medical professionals and I couldn't be more grateful.
When I found out I was pregnant with my first child, I was hoping to find an OB who I could trust to have my best interest in mind. My husband did his research and found Dr. George Guirgus and Dr. Alvarez to be recommended as one of the best doctors in the area.
